It was the blessings of Allah (swt) that I have traveled to many countries around the world, and met muslims who welcomed me and taught me about Islam. Upon returning to my home in the Bay Area I have made new muslim friends and attend regular prayer gatherings as often as Allah prescribes.. As a convert I appreciate Islam for how it has changed my life, and I strive to increase my own inner light and faith in the Source of all creation.
I am a landscape painting artist, making a sound living doing what I love, and I enjoy adventures in the outdoors, camping, etc... I also enjoy teaching, sharing wisdom and knowledge with the youth. Islam is a guiding force in my life, but to be honest it is not the only source of my interests.. Surely Allah created diversity for a reason.
While I know I want to marry a Muslim woman, sometimes I feel discouraged by the separation and awkwardness of meeting women in a religious setting. But the Muslim women that I have met have really intrigued me and given me a higher standard to aim for.. Inshallah, Allah knows best.
